Why a solarium for your horse?

The heat emitted can penetrate both the superficial and deeper tissues. This stimulates blood circulation, cell metabolism and muscle relaxation.
Horses with tense muscles are more likely to be injured than those with relaxed muscles. Like massages, equine solariums encourage the horse to release tension and relax.

One of the major advantages of a horse solarium is the shorter warm-up time. A 20-minute session before work is ideal to warm up the horse's muscles before training.
Equine solariums are also very useful when work has already been done. By promoting the breakdown of lactic acid after exercise, the device effectively prevents muscle stiffness, further reducing the risk of injury.

Poor weather conditions cause many horses to lose fitness during the winter months. They take longer to warm up and cool down and their willingness to work decreases.
Research shows that horses that were given an hour of light therapy every day were better able physically and mentally to cope with winter work.

A horse solarium is effective for drying horses quickly. This is a great advantage in winter, when horses take longer to dry after exercise.
